New Study Reveals Low Sex Drive In Women With Diabetes

Almost half of women in the US who suffer from Type 1 or 2 diabetes report that it has a negative impact on their sex lives, according to a new study released today by MicroMass Communications, Inc., a leader in behavioral marketing in the healthcare industry. The research, which highlighted the need for improved education and support to help women build confidence in their ability to overcome the challenges of the disease, was conducted with a representative sample of more than 800 women with diabetes.

Most U.S. Women Distrust Palin On Reproductive Health Issues, Poll Finds

The majority of U.S. women do not trust Sarah Palin on women's health issues, including abortion, contraception and sex education, according to a poll conducted for Planned Parenthood Action Fund, Politico reports. Palin -- the 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate and former governor of Alaska -- "has positioned herself as a strong antiabortion activist, " and the poll results suggest a "clear problem" for her among female voters, according to Politico. Democratic pollster Hart Research Associates conducted the survey in early November and included 802 registered voters evenly divided across party lines.
